New Traffic Plan Announced For Crawfords Corner Road In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ — Drivers should be aware of a new traffic plan for Crawfords Corner Road announced Wednesday evening.

While work is being done on the road, Holmdel Police said it is anticipated that one lane will be closed each week.

For Thursday, July 10, and Friday, July 11, police said one lane of Crawfords Corner will be closed from Longstreet Road to Holmdel Road.

Drivers will be able to travel from Holmdel Road to Longstreet Road on Crawfords, as police said that lane will remain open.

From the south side of Crawfords Corner, police said a detour is in place that will take drivers from Crawfords to Longstreet & Roberts (around Holmdel Park) and back onto Holmdel Road, where drivers can access Crawfords from the north.

"We will keep you updated as we learn which side of the road will be closed," police said. "Please follow this new route until an update has been posted."
