NJ Weekend Weather: Storms On Sunday Forecast At Jersey Shore
Mostly sunny skies are expected at the shore this weekend, with a chance of scattered storms on Sunday. Here's what you need to know.
JERSEY SHORE - If you’re planning to hit the beach this weekend, make sure to do so sooner than later. While the forecast for Friday and Saturday is mostly clear, isolated thunderstorms could hit New Jersey later this weekend, bringing with it possible dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning, excessive heat and strong winds.
The National Weather Service adds that, while Friday and Saturday should see clear, sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s, Sunday holds a chance of scattered storms throughout the day starting after 3 a.m., then more precipitation after 3 p.m. and again after 9 p.m. The sun is expected to come out in intervals on Sunday with temperatures around the 85-degree mark.
Happy Friday! You can't really do much better than today. A beautiful day is forecast with highs in the low 80s, dry air, and lots of sunshine. Should be just as nice tomorrow too - call it a winning streak! #NJwx #PAwx #DEwx #MDwx pic.twitter.com/88KVEZPXn8
