NJ Weekend Weather: Sunny Skies At Jersey Shore

JERSEY SHORE — Although heavy rains are expected going into Saturday, residents can look forward to yet another sunny weekend at the Jersey Shore.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms are expected Thursday, with a chance of gusts as high as 35 mph. Showers are likely to happen until Friday afternoon.
A Flash Flood Watch in effect for northern New Jersey from Thursday afternoon through Friday morning, according to The National Weather Service.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9 a.m., then a chance of showers between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 71. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Friday night: mostly clear, with a low around 60. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming northwest after midnight.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 71. North wind around 5 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.
Sunday: Sunny with a high near 73.
Sunday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59.
