Road Closures, Detours Planned In Holmdel: See Where

While road closures take place, Holmdel Police are asking drivers to follow detour signs and drive carefully or plan an alternate route.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Drivers should be aware of road closures and detours planned in Holmdel throughout the week.

On Monday, Holmdel Police said Middle Road will be closed westbound from Palmer Avenue to Maria Court due to road work.

The westbound lane is expected to remain closed until about 5 p.m., police said.

In addition to the Middle Road closure, Holmdel Police said Longstreet Road will also be closed from the Holmdel Park Entrance to Crawfords Corner on Monday and Tuesday.

The Longstreet Road closure is due to milling and paving at the intersection of Crawfords Corner and Longstreet Road, police said. The park will still be accessible from Roberts Road.

For both days of milling and paving, authorities said the high school entrance will also be closed. Visitors are being asked to enter and exit the school via the Satz School.

While the Longstreet Road closure takes place, police said there will be a detour in place and alternating traffic at the intersection of Crawfords Corner and Longstreet.

Police are asking drivers to follow the signs and drive carefully while workers or officers are in the roadway, or plan an alternate route.
