HOLMDEL, NJ — Road work is set to continue through Friday in Holmdel, the township announced Wednesday evening.

The work scheduled for the remainder of the week will mainly impact Crawfords Corner Road, officials said, which will include:

  • On Wednesday night, paving of Crawfords Corner Road will begin.
    • Work will be done from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., with the first section to be paved near the high school to minimize disruption to school activities.
  • Traffic heading northwest on Crawfords Corner Road will be detoured at South Holland.
  • Traffic heading southwest on South Holland Road will be directed to turn left on Crawfords Corner towards Roberts Road.
  • Traffic on Holmdel Road will be detoured down to Roberts Road near Holmdel Cemetery.

As of Wednesday, officials said the plan is for the road section near the high school to be finished before Friday night to allow access for returning sports teams that evening.
