S2 Of This TV Show Spent $24M Filming In New Jersey: Report
The Apple TV+ show "Severance" filmed at locations throughout Holmdel, Middletown and Bergen County, the report said.

HOLMDEL, NJ — The hit Apple TV+ show “Severance” spent a little over $24 million filming its second season in locations throughout New Jersey, according to a report from NJ Advance Media.
The show first aired in 2022 and follows Mark (Adam Scott of “Parks & Recreation”) as he leads a team of office workers at Lumon Industries whose memories have been surgically divided (or “severed”) between their work and personal lives.
As the show goes on, the characters go on a journey to discover the truth about their jobs and themselves, according to the series synopsis on Apple TV+.

In January, the show returned to viewers with its second season and spent $24,227,793 filming it in New Jersey locations, according to the report.
When it comes to the setting of “Severance,” NJ viewers should be able to spot some familiar locations. Parts of Lumon Industries, for example, are shot at Holmdel’s Bell Works complex in both the first and second seasons.

The Eero Saarinen-designed “metroburb” is the former corporate site of Bell Labs, and now hosts multiple businesses, restaurants and stores for guests to visit.

According to the report, “Severance” used Bell Works for exterior shots and scenes of Mark walking through the lobby of Lumon Industries.
In addition to Bell Works, the show also filmed at the Kings Landing Condominium Complex in Middletown and on Old Route 9W in Alpine, which is part of Palisades Interstate Park, the report said.
