Special Needs Resource Fair Planned In Hazlet

The event aims to connect people with local organizations that provide services to enhance the lives of those with special needs.

HAZLET, NJ — Friends of the Hazlet Township Library and the Hazlet Township Police Department will team up to host a Special Needs Resource Fair on Saturday.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., community members will be able to meet with vendors for therapy, health & wellness, education, future planning for families, support groups and more at the fair.

In addition to vendors at the event, there will also be therapy dogs in attendance, and guided tours of the police department will be available.

“This Resource Fair is open to the public, and we urge anyone who has a loved one with special needs to come by, even for ten minutes, to check out all these great resources available to help and support not just their loved one, but the whole family,” the Hazlet Township Police Department said in an online post.
