Associates from Stop & Shop stores near the Jersey Shore presented a check to Michael Dowens and his service dog, Emery, from Unbroken Warriors, a NJ non-profit focused on helping military personnel with PTSD transition back into civilian life. The stores ran a register campaign over Veteran’s Day weekend to raise money for the charity, and thanks to Stop & Shop’s generous associates and customers, more than $20,000 was donated to the organization.
