Sunny Outlook For Labor Day Weekend Ahead At Jersey Shore

JERSEY SHORE, NJ — Take out the beach chairs and umbrellas! With the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida now behind us, New Jersey residents can look forward to a mostly sunny weekend at Jersey Shore.

High temperatures will hit the mid-70s with a small chance of rain on Sunday and only mild winds, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday will be most mostly sunny, with a high near 72. The sun will be shinning the brightest on Saturday, with a high temperature near 75, but by Sunday it will be mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain.

The sun will also be out on Labor Day with temperatures reaching near 80.

Sunday: A chance of showers, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
