MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — It’s been a busy few months for businesses around Monmouth County.

As 2024 comes to a close, take a look at some of the area’s most recent business additions and what's opening soon.

What’s Open

Mabel (Holmdel)
In Holmdel, Bell Works celebrated a dining milestone by welcoming its first full-service restaurant on Nov. 15. Mabel, a coastal European restaurant and bar, offers a variety of menu options such as duck rillettes, a seafood tower and more for customers to choose from.

Sanders Pianos (Oceanport)
For those looking to buy a new piano, you can visit Sanders Pianos on East Main Street in Oceanport. The showroom is open Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and by appointment every other day.

Toast City Diner (Manalapan)
In late November, Toast City Diner opened its fifth New Jersey location in Manalapan, joining four other spots in Montclair, Asbury Park, Red Bank and Cranford. Known for its made-from-scratch meals, the diner offers a variety of items for customers to choose from.

Ocean State Job Lot (Holmdel)
In November, Ocean State Job Lot opened a new location just off Route 35. The store is Ocean State Job Lot's eighth NJ location and the second in Monmouth County.

Bloomie’s (Shrewsbury)
In November, Bloomie’s opened their first New Jersey location at the Grove in Shrewsbury. Located in the space where J. Jill used to be, the new store is the first of its kind to carry an all-women’s assortment of products.

First Watch (Eatontown)
In December, Eatontown welcomed First Watch, a new breakfast and lunch spot located on Route 35. Known for its health-conscious vegan and vegetarian fare, the restaurant offers lots of meals with fresh vegetables, egg and bacon breakfast scrambles and more.

Miznon Kosher (Holmdel)
In mid-December, Bell Works hosted the grand opening of Miznon Kosher, a Mediterranean street food restaurant that opened on Bell Works’ ground floor. The restaurant was started by Eyal Shani, a Michelin-starred celebrity celebrity chef known for shows such as ‘Food for Thought’ and Israel’s ‘Master Chef.’

Perkins Griddle & Go (Monmouth County)
In 2025, lifelong Monmouth County residents Lisa Dalton and Anthony Degrande plan to bring Perkins Griddle & Go to Monmouth County. Known for its breakfast and homestyle comfort food, the franchise has signed its largest Griddle & Go agreement to date with a 10-unit deal throughout the county.

QuickChek (Neptune)
By the end of December, Neptune Township will have a new QuickChek on Route 35. The new location is set to be open 24/7, host 8 MPD fueling stations, 10 tables for indoor seating, 16 tables for outdoor seating and more.

Dill Dinkers (Monmouth County)
Dill Dinkers, an indoor pickleball club franchise, will soon bring 20 new clubs to Monmouth, Middlesex and Union counties. The franchise offers amenities such as open play, a ball machine, lessons, clinics and more for customers to enjoy.

Gap Factory Store & Ross Dress For Less (Middletown)
In 2025 and 2026, Middletown will welcome a Ross Dress For Less and Gap Factory Store in the Middletown Marketplace on Route 35. Both stores will open in the former Bed, Bath & Beyond space.

Jersey Pickleball Club (Holmdel)
In mid-March, Bell Works will welcome Jersey Pickleball Club to their lower level. The club will host five professional courts, social areas, lockers and more.
