20th Anniversary 9/11 Ceremony Planned In Sparta
Sparta's Town Council and Board of Education are co-hosting the event.

SPARTA, NJ — A remembrance ceremony is scheduled in Sparta to mark the 20th Anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
“Honoring the Fallen and First Responders” is the theme of the ceremony, planned for Saturday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m.
The event is expected to take place at Sparta High School’s Cassels Field on 70 West Mountain Road.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be indoors at Sparta High School’s auditorium, according to information available on the Sparta Township Public Schools’ social media.
