The Sparta Knights of Columbus will be raffling off a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze at Our Lady of the Lake RC Church's annual parish picnic next month and the community has a chance to win.
The raffle, which began in April, will end with a drawing on Sept. 14 at the picnic of the Sparta church. The prized car was provided by Mcguire Chevrolet and Cadillac of Newton, although the Marquette K of C in Sparta is purchasing the prize.
Tickets are still being sold at $50 a piece and a maximum of 800 tickets are being sold. All leftover money after the purchase of the car will be used for charities that Marquette supports.
