Hopatcong State Park Reopens For Swimming
The beach and swimmings areas had been closed at Hopatcong State Park following failed water quality tests, both reopening on Wednesday.

HOPATCONG, NJ - Hopatcong State Park’s beach and swimming areas opened back up on Wednesday after there had been a shutdown for a few days, for failed water quality tests.
The park originally announced it was closed last Friday, July 23 for water quality reasons; and would remain so until it had a passing water sample.
Park personnel answered an inquiry made by a person on its social media post about the closure, stating the public could request information at that time, from the park’s office or from lifeguards.
