Hopatcong Students Take Creative Approach to Helping Kids Stay Drug-Free

Local school children who crafted anti-drug slogans and artwork will have their work inspire kids all over the school district.

Students in teacher Julie Wilson's class at Hopatcong High Schools gave their time Nov. 15 to help spread a message to area school children: Don't do illegal drugs.

The teenagers spent time removing anti-drug inserts from local newspapers; the inserts, which will be distributed to students at HHS, Hopatcong Middle School and Durban Avenue School, are comprised of anti-drug-themed slogans and artwork created by Hopatcong Borough Schools students.
