Monroe Trail Partially Closed On Friday In Hopatong: Police

The road closure stretched for about four hours, the police department said.

HOPATCONG, NJ — A portion of Monroe Trail in Hopatcong was closed for about four hours on Friday, according to the Hopatcong Police Department.

The police department alerted drivers to the closure at about 8:50 a.m., between Northwestern Way and Tor Place, Hopatcong police said.

The road was reopened at about 12:56 p.m.

Police did not immediately specify why the road has been closed.
