Sparta School Board Set For Uncontested Election
Three people filed to run, one of them an incumbent, for three available seats on Sparta's Board of Education. Here are the candidates.

SPARTA, NJ — The Sparta Board of Education will have an uncontested election this fall.
Three candidates filed for three available, three-year terms.
The candidates for these seats are:

- Vanessa Serrano
- Craig M. Palleschi
- Wendy J. Selander
There are three seats up on the Board of Education with terms expiring in December 2021. Serrano is one of those three, with the other two seats presently vacant, according to Sparta Township Public School's website.
All three candidates filed with the "Experience, Commitment & Integrity" slogan.
