Fundraising Dinner Saturday for Local Family

The holidays start next week but there is still plenty to do in Howell this weekend including a fundraiser in Ramtown to help a local family.

On Saturday night the Howell Elks Lodge will be hosting a chicken parm dinner to help the family of a local cancer patient. For $10 people can help the family of 8-year-old Graysen McDown who was diagnosed with a rare rhabdomyosarcoma two years ago. In that time she has undergone 24 weeks of chemo, six weeks of proton radiation therapy and multiple surgeries. That has made things difficult for her family physically, emotionally, socially and in many other ways including financially.
