Girl Scouts Hosting Special Event Wednesday Night

The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore are hosting a special event in Farmingdale on Wednesday aimed to help with the involvement of children with autism.
The session, which is being held at the Program Activity Center is geared toward leaders and parents who might have questions about scouting for children on the Autism spectrum. Boy Scout leaders and assistants can also take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the topic. The program is free and for more information call 732-938-5454.
Wednesday’s forecast should start with some patchy fog before 10 a.m. The National Weather Service is calling for a high near 60 for the day before dropping down to a low near 49 at night. The chance of rain for Halloween eve remains around 30 percent but the chance improves to 80 percent on Friday.
