Howell School Board Candidates Virtual Forum Off For Now
The League of Women Voters said a planned virtual forum Oct. 26 for Howell Board of Education candidates is cancelled.

HOWELL, NJ — The League of Women Voters of Monmouth County planned to host a virtual Candidates’ Forum for the Howell Township Board of Education candidates on Thursday, Oct. 26, but certain candidates were unable to attend so the event is cancelled for now, the organization said.
"Regrettably, the League of Women Voters of Monmouth County must cancel the Howell Township Board of Education Candidates' Forum on Thursday, October 26, because of the recent withdrawal of candidates and therefore rendering our forum nonviable," said Marianne Kligman, vice president for Voter Service .
"We stand ready to plan a forum for the Howell Board of Education candidates if a suitable alternative date becomes available," she added.
