Here Is A List Of Blood Drives In Monmouth Co. Scheduled For Aug.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey Blood Services has several blood drives coming up during the month of Aug. in Monmouth County.

Because of the coronavirus, blood supplies have been low and the organization has been urging people to donate urgently.

Eligible donors include those people at least 16 years (with parental permission or consent), who weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, are in good health and meet all Food & Drug Administration and NJ State Department of Health donor criteria.

Here is a list of the upcoming drives:

• Aug. 17: Howell Donor Center, 4068 Route 9 South, Howell, 1:30 - 8:30 pm
• Aug. 18: Howell Donor Center, 4068 Route 9 South, Howell, 7:45 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
• Aug. 18: Middletown United Methodist Church, 924 Middletown‑Lincroft Rd, Middletown, 1 - 7 p.m.
• Aug. 19: Howell Donor Center, 4068 Route 9 South, Howell, 1:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• Aug. 19: Congregation B’nai Israel, 171 Ridge Road, Rumson, 1 - 7 p.m.
• Aug. 23: North Centerville Volunteer Fire Co. #1, Hazlet, 1 - 7 p.m.
