Howell Library Hosting Special Author Reading Tuesday
A look at events happening in Howell this week.

This week marks the start of a new year for the Howell Township Zoning Board of Adjustment with the appointment of two new members and a new chairman who will be appointed at Monday night’s meeting.
Following the resignation of former Chairman Steven Meier the board will meet for the first time in what looks to be a busy 2014.
The year will start with a question of interpretation brought by a group calling themselves Land Of Pines Concerned Citizens. At question is an interpretation of an ordinance that would allow the construction of a pharmacy gas station and bank at the intersection of Route 9 and Salem Hill Road. The interpretation will decide whether the application continues with the planning board or is moved to the zoning board.
