Howell PBA Oktoberfest Saturday: A 17-Year Tradition

Support Howell PBA Local 228 and celebrate Oktoberfest this Saturday with food, games, music - and beer.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell PBA Local 228 presents its 17th annual Oktoberfest this Saturday, Oct. 7, with proceeds supporting the PBA's work.

The Oktoberfest will be held at the Girl Scouts Activity Center, 127 Yellowbrook Road, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine.

The event is fun for the whole family: Not only is there the beer and wine tastings, there is all-you-can eat food, DJ entertainment and lots to do for the kids.

There are raffles, door prizes, music and kids' entertainment, including inflatables, face painting, spin art and more.

The Oktoberfest lives up to its name with unlimited German and domestic beers on tap, a free expanded wine tasting and more. Try German cuisine, burgers, hot dogs and hot pretzels.

Here is the ticket information:

  • $50 per person for those ages 21 and up.
  • $20 per person for those ages 3 to 20 or for adult non-drinker, a designated driver discount.
  • Children under three years of age can join in the fun for free.
