The inclusive playground would replace the current playground equipment and add to it equipment that is accessible to children with disabilities. The equipment "may consist of spinning, sliding, climbing, swinging, sensory play, and/or overhead elements as well as sensory panels, rocking, bouncing, and balancing elements, crawl tunnels, bridges and ramps, and/or nature-inspired play structures."
The project will include an ADA-accessible walkway consisting of either pavers or concrete that will lead from the street parking to the playground surface.
