Identity Of Howell Man Who Stabbed 3 Men Released: Reports
Jorge Salgado, 38, allegedly stabbed three men after his 8-year-old son was hit by a car, according to the Asbury Park Press.
HOWELL, NJ — A Howell man who was arrested on. Aug 15 after allegedly stabbing three other men was identified as Jorge Salgado, 38, according to Asbury Park Press.
The incident happened near the 400 block of Broadway, in Elizabeth. Salgado's 8-year-old son was hit by a car traveling east on Broadway at a low speed and that prompted the attack, according to city spokesperson Kelly Martins, the online publication also reported.
Salgado stabbed both the driver of the car — who had before pulled over to call 911 and help the victim — and two bystanders, who also attended to the boy, with a kitchen knife, the investigation report obtained by Asbury Park Press said.

The 38-year-old Howell man was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, according to nj.com.
