Jackson Resident Faces Shoplifting, Drug Charges in Howell

Charges stem from incident at Walmart on November 9.

A Jackson resident is alleged to have attempted to get a headstart on her holiday shopping by taking items from the Howell Walmart without paying for them.

Christina J. Sheedy, 31, is charged with third degree shoplifting for allegedly working with two co-defendants to work to take items from the store valued at $715.06. The charges stem from an incident in the store on or about November 9.

In addition to the shoplifting charges Sheedy was also charged with being in possession of drug paraphernalia. According to court documents at the time of her arrest she was found with a wax fold which was used to hold heroin in her wallet and more wax folds in a pair of pants in the trunk of her car.

Bail was set at $500 for the drug charge and $11,000 for the shoplifting charge.
