No Injuries Reported in Wednesday Night Fire

Several local fire departments were called to a structure fire at a home Maxim-Southard Road Wednesday night.

Sgt. Thomas Weg of the Howell Police Department reported that when units arrived on the scene they found “a large amount of fire,” coming from the front door of the residence. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Howell Fire Bureau. Responding to the scene were the Southard, Ramtown and Freewood Acres Fire Departments as well as the Howell First Aid Squad. Mutual aid was provided by fire departments from Jackson and Lakewood.
