SPCA Investigating Cat Shot by Arrow in Howell
Animal believed to have been intentionally targeted.

The Monmouth County SPCA is investigating an incident in the township that resulted in a cat being shot by an arrow.
According to a report on NJ.com based on the position of the arrow and the fact that it was shot by a compound bow there is evidence to prove that the animal was intentionally shot. “It’s not like they were shooting at a target some place and the cat ran in front of the target at that leve, and it wasn’t like they were deer hunting because a cat comes up to a deer on it’s ankle,” Chief Victor “Buddy” Amato said in the story.”
Amato said the investigation is “very active,” according to the story. Anyone with information is asked to contact him at 732-312-7153
