Two-Car Crash Sunday In Howell Claims Life Of Lakewood Man
A fatal motor vehicle accident involving two cars happened early Sunday morning at the Route 9 and Aldrich Road intersection in Howell.
FREEHOLD, NJ – A two-vehicle crash in Howell early Sunday morning has resulted in the death of a Lakewood man, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago said.
The accident happened at approximately 2:53 a.m. at the intersection of Route 9 and Aldrich Road, the prosecutor's office said on Sunday afternoon.
One driver, a Lakewood man, 69, died in the accident, authorities said. The victim was not identified.

The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Howell Police Department.
