5 Things You Need to Know About School District's Realtime

There's a new way of getting information from the school district.

Did you know that the Jefferson school district has a new information system that does…well…give you information about your child. There are all sorts of things you can learn with Realtime, the district’s new parent portal. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Sign Up: You need to sign up for Realtime with a user name and password that were provided via email at the beginning of the school year.
  2. Attendance: You can log in and find your child’s attendance record, including whether their absences are excused or unexcused and whether they came with a note or phone call. You can also learn if they have been absent from any individual classes.
  3. Food Services: You can see exactly how much money is available in your child’s lunch account, so you know when to replenish it.
  4. Documents: Any correspondence, letters, forms, etc. that have been sent home from school are available in this section of the site.
  5. Linking Students: If you have more than one child, you can link their accounts. Saves on the user names/passwords you need to remember.
