• Prostitution Ring Across North Jersey Busted Up, AG Says (patch.com) — Residents in Jefferson Township are directly tied to a major law enforcement takedown of an alleged prostitution and racketeering network that used Yan’s Massage and Reiki in Newfoundland as a front. Investigators say the spa, partly in Jefferson, was one of several North Jersey locations where women were transported, cash was laundered, and more than $500,000 in illicit proceeds were generated before coordinated raids earlier this month.
