5 Things About the Jefferson Highlights Concerts
Ready to rock? Camp Jefferson is the place to be for the next seven weeks.

The fifth season of the Jefferson Highlights Summer Concert Series begins this weekend. If you like tribute bands, this may be the place for you this summer. Here are five things you need to know about the series:
- The series begins this Saturday night with Beatlemania Again, a Beatles tribute band. Showtime is at 8 p.m. at Camp Jefferson.
- The concerts run every Saturday night from July 16 through Aug. 27. Besides Beatlemania gain, other bands include Almost Queen, The E Street Shuffle, Bad Medicine, Evolution (Journey tribute), Billy Hector and Michael Patrick, a Johnny Cash tribute.
- Ticket prices are $20 per adult. Senior citizens 62 and over are $15, and children from 10-15 are $10. Children under nine are admitted free with a paying adult.
- The entire series works under a “No Ticket Wasted” program. If you purchase a ticket in advance and something comes up to prevent your attendance, you can use the ticket at any remaining concert.
- Food, snacks and soft drinks will be available for sale at all concerts. However, no coolers are allowed. Smoking and alcohol are also prohibited by township ordinance.
