Alleged Speeder Charged with DWI
The following arrest information was supplied by the Jefferson Township police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Jefferson Township officers arrested a man they initially stopped for allegedly speeding on June 30.
Police stopped Paul Rugel, 44, of Jefferson, and determined he was intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and speeding.
He was released pending a municipal court appearance.
