Almeda Rodda, Newfoundland Resident

Almeda J. (Mackey) Rodda, 92, of Newfoundland, passed away at her home on Sunday, Nov. 20, with her family by her side.

Mrs. Rodda was born in Newfoundland and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Newfoundland.  She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Community Fire Company No. 1 of Newfoundland and Oak Ridge. 

Mrs. Rodda was predeceased by her parents The Honorable Forrest D. Mackey and Bessie (Kimble) and her brothers John A. Mackey and wife Marjorie and Joseph C. Mackey and wife Lorraine.

She is survived by her loving husband Edwin R. Rodda of Newfoundland; her beloved son Forrest E. Rodda and his wife Vickie of Hamburg; her dear sister-in-law Jessie D. Rodda of Oak Ridge; her cherished nieces Susan Henderson and her husband Jack of Branson, MO and JoAnne Mackey of Albuquerque, NM; and her adored nephews John A. Mackey and his wife Lois of PA and Joseph C. Mackey and his wife Randi of Texas.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, Nov. 25 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. at the Stickle-Soltesz Funeral Home, 187 LaRue Road, Newfoundland, NJ 07435.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 11 a..m at the funeral home with visitation prior to the funeral service from 10 - 11 a.m.

 Interment will follow at Newfoundland Cemetery, Newfoundland.
