Blues Traveler Brings the Jam to Newton Theatre, Cub Scouts' Can Collection

- Jamband fans rejoice: The much-loved bandΒ Blues Traveler brings its singular improvisationalΒ sounds to the area Friday night when it plays the Newton Theatre. Tickets range from $47-$67 and may be purchased online. Showtime is at 8 p.m. The theater is at 234 Spring St. in nearbyΒ Newton.
- Important reminder for the weekend: The Jefferson Township Rotary ClubΒ Virtual Baby ShowerΒ is scheduled for Saturday. Residents are asked to donate new baby items, gift cards, bottles, blankets and moreΒ that will be given to pregnant spouses of soldiers in the U.S. armed forces.
