Dylan Johnson scored his second game-winning goal in the past three games as the boys’ soccer team defeated Vernon by a 2-1 margin on Monday.
The Falcons went to halftime with the score tied 0-0. In the 49th minute of play, Sami Jamal scored on a pass from Matt Newman.
Vernon scored about seven minutes later to knot the game 1-1.

Jamal then placed a near-perfect pass to Johnson, who scored with three minutes left in the game to give the Falcons the lead they would not relinquish.
Goalies Matt Servedio and Alex Tuhy combined for 10 saves.
