Busy Weekend Coming Up in Jefferson

If you have children at home for the teachers’ convention break, we hope you’re enjoying your time with them. If you’re looking for ways to keep them busy, or for a break for yourself, we can help you with that. There’s lots going on around town this weekend, and we’re here to help you find out what that is.

  1. : Help out the Department for Persons With Disabilities at a tricky tray tonight at St. John Vianney Church in Stockholm. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., calling starts at 8 p.m.
  2. : A La Art on Rt. 15 in Lake Hopatcong will hold its grand opening ceremonies on Saturday at 9 a.m.
  3. : The American Legion Post 423 will hold its spaghetti dinner on Saturday starting at 5:30 p.m. at the post on Legion Rd. in Oak Ridge. Tickets are $9.
  4. : The Jefferson Community Players will present scenes from a variety of comedies and dramas at the library on Saturday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m.
  5. : Get a start on your holiday shopping at the Lake Shawnee vendor and craft sale on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. at the lake clubhouse at 4 W. Shawnee Trail.
