Chamber Seeks Money for Sign Honoring Roberts

The Jefferson Township Chamber of Commerce is looking to honor Doris Roberts, a township resident who volunteered for the chamber and several other township organizations. .

“Doris Roberts was dedicated and committed to Jefferson Township and many of its organizations and deserves to be recognized indefinitely,” said a press release from the Chamber. “To preserve her memory the JTCC will dedicate a new Route 15 south sign to her when enough funds have been raised.”

The sign welcoming visitors to Jefferson Township on Route 15 “has seen better days and is in need of replacement,” the press release said. The Chamber is accepting donations toward this project. Representatives said that $10, $20, $50 or any amount would be appreciated. All donations will be set aside specifically for the sign. Payments may be sent to:
