Dover Milton Road To Be Closed Part of Monday

According to a message sent out via Jefferson Township’s Honeywell alert system, Dover Milton Road will be closed today, Monday April 30, from Schoolhouse Road to Weldon Road for emergency road repairs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Jefferson Township’s business administrator, James Leach, said that the repair is due to a deteriorated drainpipe on Dover Milton Road that needs to be repaired.

“The crew will try to have to work done as quickly as possible, but there just isn’t enough room on Dover Milton for the crew to work safely and keep the road open,” Leach said.

Motorists are advised to use Russia Road to access Weldon Road from the Milton Section of town.
