Energy Audit Discussion on Council Meeting Agenda

Council will honor a retiring employee.

The Jefferson Township council meets on Wednesday night, and this time it’s a bit later than usual. The normal 7 p.m. start time has been pushed to 8 p.m., and several council members have a prior commitment.

On tonight’s agenda:

  • A resolution and proclamation recognizing the retirement of Viola Urban, a member of the township’s finance department, as assistant to the municipal treasurer.
  • A review and discussion of the township’s energy audit by business administrator James Leach.

Public comment is always welcome at council meetings.
