First Place Times Two For JTHS Marching Band

The Jefferson Township Golden Falcon Marching Band competed in back to back competitions last weekend, winning first place in both. 

On Saturday Oct. 8, they competed at Roselle Park and won first place in their division with a score of 86.95. The band also received awards for Best Music and Best Visual. 

On Sunday Oct. 9, they competed at Madison and won first place with a score of 85.95. They received the awards for Best Music and Best Visual in Madison as well. 

The Golden Falcon Marching Band is led on the field by Drum Major Jennifer Wendt, Assistant Drum Major Kyle Miller, and Color Guard Captain Molly Hannelly. 

Their next competition is this Sunday Oct. 16 starting at 12:30 pm at the Governor Livingston High School in Berkley Heights.
