
Looking for a fun fall activity? Look no further than the Jefferson Township Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. β 3 p.m. at . Admission is free, and thereβs a lot going on. Hereβs what you need to know:
- Where to Park: You can either follow the parking attendants at Camp Jefferson, or go to Briggs School or the former Yamaha dealership on Weldon Rd. and take the shuttle bus to Camp Jefferson.
- Wealth of Activities: DJ music, magic shows, pony rides, coloring, pumpkin decorating, pumpkin picking and a petting zoo are just some.
- Refreshments are Available: They will be sold throughout the day for a nominal fee. The proceeds will benefit βOperation Camp Jefferson,β which helps send children in need to Camp Jefferson in the summer.
- Restock the Food Pantry: Festival goers are asked to bring a nonperishable food item or paper product with them to the festival to help replenish the Jefferson Food Pantry.
- Haunted House: Following the festival is the annual Haunted House at Camp Jefferson. The less scary matinee runs from 4 β 5:30 p.m., and the evening performance runs from 7 β 9 p.m. The Haunted House is also open on Sunday with a matinee performance from 4:30 β 5:30 p.m. and evening performance from 6 β 8 p.m. Admission for any performance is $3.
