Five Ways to Have Some Weekend Fun

It’s the weekend! Finally! Now, for some ways to enjoy it! At Patch, we know how hard you work at your job or at school or with the kids, and we want you to find some ways to kick back and relax. So leave all the work to us. You just go out and have fun.

1. You Need to Know About Football: The Jefferson Falcons visit High Point tonight at 7 p.m. After a big win over Group IV champs Randolph last week, the Falcons are looking to stay undefeated. Come out and root them on!
2. You Need to Know About Girl Scouts: And how you can register to become one. Head over to and you can sign up for Girl Scouts.
3. You Need to Know About This Social: The Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a on Saturday at Castle Cove Mini Golf starting at noon. You can play a round and make a sundae with ice cream from Jefferson Dairy.
4. You Need to Know About This Half Holiday: The Lake Hopatcong Elks are celebrating on Saturday from 7 – 11 p.m. The celebration is at the Elks Hall at 201 Howard Blvd., Mt. Arlington.  Tickets are $25.
5. You Need to Know About This Concert: The will play on Sunday night at Camp Jefferson, starting at 6 p.m. This show was postponed due to a visit from Hurricane Irene on Aug. 27. Previously purchased tickets will be honored. Tickets are available for $20.
