Jefferson Curves to Offer Free Health Screenings

A multitude of free health screenings is coming to Curves of Jefferson Township. What follows is Curves owner Deborah Dominicci's own words on the upcoming event:

Curves of Jefferson Township and Exodon LLC, are joining together in a Curves health initiative to offer the community steps on how one can make a difference in their health and well being. Early detection is often the key to successful treatment and by bringing awareness to a couple of diseases/conditions, we can be screened and diagnosed early, therefore giving ourselves and ultimately our doctors a chance to tackle the symptoms or progression of the condition early.

These screenings are completely free in fact, the service is giving a couple hundred dollars worth of laboratory tests, including glucose, triglycerides, and complete cholesterol profile for free.

We will also be doing women’s health, emotional and behavioral wellness screening. Please call and reserve, as space is limited. Free health screenings include:

 Cognitive, Emotional, and Behavioral Wellness: Screening for Memory Disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias, Age-Related Cognitive Decline, ADHD, Depression & OCD

Cardiovascular Health: Screening for Cholesterol including Triglycerides, BMI & Blood Pressure

Women’s Health: Screening for Perimenopause symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, moodiness, PMS including PDD (severe depression, irritability, tension before periods)

 The date Aug. 12 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. This event is open to the public.

 “This is yet another great community event where we can come together, in an atmosphere of no judgment, and learn that it doesn't have to be difficult to begin to take charge of our health,” said Jefferson Township Curves owner Deborah Dominicci. “You don't have to make big changes to see results.”
