Jefferson Home Shot At, No One Hurt: Police

Police say no one was injured when a Jefferson home sustained gunshot damage.

JEFFERSON, NJ — A Jefferson Township home sustained gunshot damage late Wednesday night, the Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp said.

The incident happened just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, when Jefferson police got a call about shots being fired on Seneca Trail. Police say a Seneca Trail home had likely gunshots to the exterior, and "various other objects" on the property were also damaged.

The investigation closed Seneca Trail for several hours early Thursday morning. Police said at the time there was no immediate danger to the public.
