First Day of School This Week

Jefferson Township students will make their return to school on Friday for just one day before the weekend. Kicking off the new school year activities, the school marching band will be meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Fire Company to Wet Down New Truck

The Jefferson Township Fire Company 1 is showing off its new truck with a wetdown on Saturday at 6 p.m. The free, family event will feature live music, food and fun.

Sunflowers Abound in Nearby Sussex County

More than a million buds of bright yellow, tall flowers are greeting the sun—and spectators—in one of the largest sunflower fields on the East Coast in Sussex County now through September.
