In the JBL East Boys B League, the fifth and sixth grade Lakers claimed the
title with a come from behind 27-20 win in the championship game.
The Heat jumped out to a 14-0 lead after one quarter. The Lakers battled back with a great effort to tie the game at 14-14 in the third quarter.
With the game tied at 20-20 mid way through the fourth quarter the Lakers were able to pull away, scoring the last seven points to win the championship.
