Lax Game to Benefit Jefferson High Skier

Lacrosse team wants to help Chris Pierson and his family.

After an accident this past winter, Chris Pierson, a member of the ski team, broke his back and was paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors say he is making progress and hopes are high for a full recovery.

Pierson’s family is currently in the process of making their home wheel chair accessible. To aid in that effort, the boys’ lacrosse team will hold a fundraiser for Pierson at the team’s next game on Thursday night at 7 p.m. at the high school. While admission will not be charged, the Jefferson Township Boys Lacrosse Parent Association will accept donations to benefit the Pierson family.

For those who can't make the game but would like to donate, send donations to the high school at 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438, to the attention of John DiColo or Lori Kircher.
