Legos, Book Clubs, Yoga on the Library Agenda This Week

The library is a hotbed of activity all summer long.

While some places in town quiet down for the summer, the isn’t one of them. The activities, classes, lectures and options for kids abound. You can go to the library every day this week and find something different to do. Here are some options for you:

  1. Monday: You can take the kids to Morning Tales at 9:30 a.m., lapsit story time at 10:15 a.m. or Arts from Around the World at 11:30 a.m.  Adults can attend the library chefs program at 6:30 p.m.
  2. Tuesday: You can take the kids to a lapsit story time at 10 a.m., Scientific Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., a story time for ages 3-5 at 12:30 p.m. or a drop-in craft at 1:30 p.m.
  3. Wednesday: Choices for kids include Kindergarten Capers at 10 a.m., Made in China at 11 a.m. or Tech Club at 4 p.m.
  4. Thursday: The Cover-to-Cover Book Group for adults meets at 10:30 a.m., Junior Engineering for grades 1-3 meets at 3:30 p.m., Lego Fungineering for grades 4-6 meets at 5 p.m., there is a drop-in pajama story time at 6 p.m. and the chess club meets from 6-8 p.m.
  5. Friday: Yoga for ages 8 and up meets at 9:30 a.m., Lego free play happens at 2 p.m. and Wii gaming night for ages 9-12 starts at 5 p.m.
