The Jefferson Lightning 9U baseball team lost the championship game to Sparta Venom on Sunday by a final score of 8-6.
The team received second place trophies in the Off The Bench Sports awards ceremony.
The team is comprised of General Manager Jack Chenault, Head Coach Paul CeCe, Assistant Coaches Don Vassallo and Paul Urbano. Players are James Carrier, Justin CeCe, Luke Chenault, Ryan Clarkson, Patrick Jakova, Zachary Roskowsky, John Sadowski, Jack Urbano, Brian Vassallo, Andrew Weber & CJ White.
