Meet A Future Leader In Jefferson: Erin Leonard

The future of Jefferson is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Erin Leonard, who are making a positive impact in and around Jefferson.

Erin, a standout student at Jefferson Township High School, was recognized as the Technology Department Student of the Month in January 2025 for her leadership and innovation in Creation & Design Technology Studio. The teacher who nominated Erin praised her exceptional skills and dedication, stating, "Erin exemplifies a student that is driven to be her best at everything she does. She has taken on a role of being a class leader with 3D printing while embracing the design process."

Beyond her technical expertise, Erin’s problem-solving abilities and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on both her peers and instructors. Her teacher further shared, "[Erin's] positive charge has even inspired [me] to take my skill levels up with creating 3D prints, as well as taking my teaching to the next level."

With her leadership, innovation, and willingness to help others, Erin is a true role model in STEM education. Her passion for design and technology, combined with her collaborative spirit, sets her apart as a young leader poised for success in the field.
